Bills rookie safety Duke Williams left practice early Saturday and did not come out for practice on Sunday. Head coach Doug Marrone provided the update on Williams’ condition.
“He showed some concussion-like symptoms yesterday,” said Marrone. ”We thought he was fine initially coming off the field and then he showed some symptoms where we make sure we’re doing everything we can as an organization and a league for player safety. Once we see those symptoms they go through a process with our trainers and doctors until they’re able to be released.”
Williams is not expected to participate in Monday’s team scrimmage.
